The Barn Quilts of Pocahontas County

The Barn Quilts of Pocahontas County formed in August 2005 and the committee is proud to share their progress throughout Pocahontas County.  There is a special “Iowa” barn quilt on Highway 4 in the shape of the State of Iowa, Iowa’s logo and an eagle.  16 different barns or farm buildings now display 8’ x 8’ and larger painted barn quilts.  See the brochure, printable map, tour map, or interactive map.
